About EigenLabs
EigenLabs is building a protocol called EigenLayer that provides crypto-economic security as a service to decentralized applications such as rollups, bridges, and oracles. Typically these projects are designed to be secured by their own token. However, because it is difficult to bootstrap the value of a new token, this often leads to situations where projects lack sufficient capital to strongly secure their networks.
With EigenLayer, projects come to Ethereum for staked security in place of or in addition to their own token. Stakers in the Ethereum proof-of-stake (PoS) network opt in to “re-stake” their Ether to crypto-economically secure these projects. The projects and their users pay fees back to stakers in exchange for stronger security guarantees.
EigenLayer makes it possible for developers to build new decentralized applications that launch with high crypto-economic security, but without the need to bootstrap a large amount of value into their own token. This modularization of crypto-economic security unlocks new possibilities for open and permissionless innovation.
About the Role
We are looking to hire a Senior Technical Recruiter to join the EigenLabs team. As the first in-house Recruiter, you will play a key role in hiring the best talent in the cutting-edge field of cryptocurrency and blockchain development.
In this role you’ll collaborate directly with the Recruiting Director and Executive Leadership to deliver deeply technical hires that move the needle for the business. You will be responsible for developing and driving our crypto recruiting strategy, while working closely with key stakeholders to build out scalable and repeatable processes. This is a full-time position that is fully remote in US time zones or located near our office in Seattle.
Your responsibilities will include the following:
- Own end-to-end recruitment process including role kick-offs, sourcing, candidate management, interviewing & feedback, and offer process.
- Create processes, best practices, and documentation that will help us scale our hiring process alongside the growth of the company.
- Build a diverse pipeline of technical candidates using creative sourcing channels.
- Collaborate with Hiring Managers to deeply understand their hiring needs and proactively translate that into a positive candidate and interviewer experience.
- Analyze and report on progress consistently; continually adjust strategy as needed while making decisions informed by data.
- Represent the company with integrity and professionalism.
About You:
- 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, ideally with some experience in a high-growth tech startup environment.
- Experience working with engineering teams and hiring for complex technical roles, including but not limited to Generalists, Backend, Frontend, Security, and more.
- Proven track record of hitting hiring goals and forming positive relationships with hiring managers and key stakeholders.
- Experience coaching hiring managers and helping them develop strategic recruiting plans.
- Passion and understanding of technology, bonus points for depth of experience and interest with crypto blockchain technology.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
