 About The Role
The Pagoda Data Science team is looking for a Data Scientist to optimize developer growth and performance marketing. 
What You'll Be Doing

<li>Define and assess metrics to inform key conclusions in growth optimization;</li>
<li>Apply statistical models on large datasets to understand trends in developer behavior and influence growth and marketing strategy;</li>

The Data Platform team at Pagoda is responsible for the data access infrastructure of NEAR Protocol. We focus on building scalable, performant, and reliable infrastructure to query and access blockchain data that power decentralized applications, such as the NEAR Blockchain Operating System (BOS).

The Pagoda Data Platform team is looking for a Data Engineer to build and scale our data infrastructure to empower our core products and product analytics.
**This role is a 6 month contract with an opportunity for full time conversion depending on performance and business need. Temporary contractors will not receive full time benefits stated below.

 About The Role
The Gateway Technology team is looking for an experienced Javascript Engineer to join our <a href="https://github.com/near/bos-web-engine">BOS Web Engine team’s effort</a> to build an experimental runtime/rendering layer aimed at replacing the <a href="https://github.com/nearsocial/vm">Discovery Virtual Machine</a> with a full-featured React (or Preact) environment, enabling access to the greater web ecosystem including NPM dependencies. 
We are looking for a productive, pragmatic, empathetic collaborator to join the team. Someone who is excited by challenging technical problems, has proficiency in low-level browser APIs, and familiarity with framework rendering pipelines (i.e. React or Preact).

The Protocol Engineering team at Pagoda is responsible for the infrastructure of the Layer 1 Blockchain, NEAR Protocol. We focus on building a scalable, performant, and reliable infrastructure to actualize visions of NEAR Protocol, including the Blockchain Operating System (BOS).
The core component of NEAR is a WebAssembly virtual machine that runs in a completely trustless and fully deterministic mode, as it executes contracts implemented in WebAssembly-friendly languages (e.g. Rust and Javascript) using a fast compiler. NEAR contributes a lot of effort into performance and safety optimizations of WebAssembly VMs/compilers which helps not only the NEAR protocol but the entire WebAssembly ecosystem.
We are looking for an Engineer with experience in low-level programming who is intrigued by a variety of open problems inherent to running compilers in completely trustless but high-performance settings, and who likes contributing to and collaborating with open-source communities.
What You'll Be Doing
In this role, you will be solving cutting-edge compiler and VM problems related to safe, deterministic, and high-performance compilation and execution. You will interface with many open-source projects where you might be asked to represent the NEAR organization. In the future, your work might also extend beyond WebAssembly VMs into other types of VMs that NEAR chooses to support. Pagoda’s growing security team is looking for a Senior Security Engineer to partner with our Protocol, contract runtime team. This position will be primarily responsible for identifying, analyzing, solutioning, and accounting for security as it pertains to NEAR’s contract runtime; embedded within Pagoda’s contract runtime team and reporting to Pagoda’s CISO.
As Security Engineer you will work closely with the contract runtime team to make sure that NEAR’s WebAssembly runtime is secure, robust, and performant. You will work on the security of WebAssembly compilers and NEAR’s smart contract execution environment.
A core component of the NEAR blockchain is a WebAssembly virtual machine (https://github.com/near/wasmer/) that runs in a completely trustless and fully deterministic mode, as it executes smart contracts implemented in WebAssembly-friendly languages (Rust and Javascript, for example) using a fast compiler. 
Performance and safety optimizations of WebAssembly VMs/compilers are a primary focus of Pagoda’s runtime team. This enhances not only the NEAR blockchain, but the entire WebAssembly ecosystem.

As a Security Engineer you will work closely with the Protocol team to make sure that NEAR Protocol is secure, robust, and performant. You will focus on strengthening the security of the protocol through a combination of architectural improvements, automated testing, and manual auditing of the codebase. You will also work closely with protocol engineers to ensure the security of new features and other changes to the existing protocol.

As Pagoda’s Senior Customer Support Manager, you will ensure that NEAR’s ecosystem users receive timely and high-quality support. This role is expected to help manage and lead a team of outsourced customer support representatives and make recommendations on budgeting, managing vendors, and hiring.

The Protocol Node team is looking for an experienced software engineer to focus on the experience of running NEAR’s blockchain client: making the client easy to run, improving its stability and performance, optimizing the resources it consumes.  About The Role:
The Pagoda Solutions & Enterprise Platforms team is looking for a software engineer to work on ecosystem critical features and solutions. You will be working through the whole range of NEAR Protocol stack to find opportunities for critical improvements and features that have a huge impact on the growth of the ecosystem. You will work on business critical smart-contracts, high level protocol features, applications that support protocol features.
You will be expected to fully own various components and drive their implementation from beginning to end, including the design, the implementation, the maintenance, and the documentation. Pagoda’s growing security team is looking for an experienced Application Security Architect to join our team and help protect our social media platform built on top of a blockchain. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in security technology and a deep understanding of the unique challenges of building and maintaining secure systems.
As an Application Security Engineer, you will be hands-on and have a wide-ranging impact for the security at Pagoda. You will be working closely with Pagoda’s engineering development teams and product managers to ensure our products are secure. 
You will be working with an agile team in a growing startup environment, heavy on SaaS platforms with decentralized as opposed to consolidated network infrastructure.
What You'll Be Doing:

Pagoda is seeking a General Counsel to lead the full suite of legal, compliance, and regulatory functions. 
As the leader of Pagoda’s Legal function, you will help drive Pagoda's growth while balancing business risk. Pagoda is preparing to scale, and we need a business-minded senior leader to work across corporate, commercial, product, employment, and general legal issues. 
As our General Counsel, it will be your responsibility to ensure that we do the right thing and focus on long-term impact. The General Counsel will be a crucial partner to our product and business teams, informing product development and corporate growth. The Pagoda Solutions & Enterprise Platforms team is looking for a software engineer to work on ecosystem critical protocol features and solutions.  About The Role:
The Protocol Engineering team at Pagoda is responsible for the infrastructure of Layer 1 Blockchain, NEAR Protocol. We focus on building scalable, performant, and reliable infrastructure to actualize visions of NEAR Protocol, such as the Blockchain Operating System (BOS).
We are growing our engineering team that develops the Blockchain protocol specification and its implementation. You will be working with complex concurrent systems, complicated state machines, and novel algorithms powering NEAR Protocol blockchain.
